Regulatory Reform Sinmungo is an online one-stop regulation suggestion processing system in operation to manage citizens' suggestions regarding regulatory reforms.

Regulatory Reform Sinmungo is the online one-stop regulation suggestion processing system in operation to take charge of suggestions of people regarding regulatory reform and to handle them promptly. Suggestions received at Sinmungo will be handled through 3 stages for in-depth review in the position of people. At the 1st stage, the ministry and office concerned will promptly examine whether to accept the suggestions on regulation and should respond to the suggester within 14 days under the real name of responsible person such as a director of bureau or manager. At the next stage, the Office for Government Policy Coordination will examine along with the civilian professionals whether reply of the ministry and office concerned is suitable. Suggestions with 'reasonable caus' while not accepted at the related ministry and office concerned will be requested to review again from the start regarding necessity to retain regulation. At the last stage, the Regulatory Reform Committee will examine opinion and feasibility for contents of explanation of the ministry and office concerned and recommend improvement of related regulations if necessary.

The government will do its best to operate Regulatory Reform Sinmungo with the priority on people and to create the environment where 'bad regulation' deemed unnecessary or unreasonable by government will not survive fundamentally.
